But tell us a little bit about yourself if you can.
49:25
Thanks.
49:26
Look, I came to the States after doing an NBA in England in 1989.
49:32
My first game for the US team was in Trinidad with a qualifier for the 1990 World Cup.
49:41
And I decided that we owned a magazine in England, we wanted to launch in America, Soccer International magazine.
49:47
So I came over to launch that and decided, you know, our first game was in Trinidad.
49:52
I sat with you know, 50 people, if that, in the stands in Trinidad, you know, with Werner Fricker and all the guys and Sunil and everybody.

Which would you say is the most crucial chapter, Gary?
16:27
I'm wondering, do you have confidence, and does your book suggest, that what happened in 2026 will have even more of an impact than what happened when we hosted the World Cup in 1994?
16:38
The fans in the game always...
16:39
First off, for the World Cup, the fans in the games always win.
16:42
Despite all the politics that went on, the fans turned out in great numbers, and, uh, the games, some of the games were fantastic.
16:50
So from that side.
16:51
As for where we are, you have to go...
16:53
Joe, we're history buffs.
19:55
What do you think?
36:38
So I was I knew what I would get out of Marcus.
36:44
Hi, I'm Gary Hopkins.
36:45
I'm the writer of Sky Volume 2, Into the Chaos, and also script editor of Sky Volume 1, Before the Chaos.
36:54
Well, I was first approached by Gary probably about a year before we started writing anything for this particular production.
37:02
The idea was that we would write alternate episodes, one each of the six episodes with cliffhangers along the way, just to keep things interesting for us.
37:16
And having discussed that in some detail, later on we decided that actually it would be better if Gary wrote the first three episodes and I wrote the second three, and that's the way it turned out.
37:32
That couldn't have been easier because Gary and I have worked together on many Big Finish productions over more than 20 years, so we knew each other's working methods quite well.

I think Arby, the main character, was a very complicated character and he came out as somebody you wanted to know.
