Let's go for it.
19:18
Well, Lord, we just thank you for every single person listening right now, Lord.
19:21
And we know that this is a moment of forming and shaping, Lord God, and for some, this is an easy conversation, and for others, Lord, this is challenging.
19:30
And we just pray that the Spirit would be with them even now as they're listening, God, and that you would heal wounds, that you would, um, give us a hunger for good stewardship, a hunger for obedience, Lord.

So in the for- in the formation process of our life, it's a really important, uh, piece of the puzzle as well.
26:52
Which is why we struggle and already are lost in this because even in, like, I, I need someone's opinion.
27:00
Like, I'm gonna go first and foremost to my friend who's gonna give me good advice, rather than the Lord.
27:06
So when you're saying, like, "Who's my first counsel? Who's my first?" It should be God in every area, and yet we don't have that ordered in any area of our lives.

the issue is people hear the word church hurt and they immediately think of authority and pain directly from authority, right? And so the thing that I, the reason I don't really like those two words together is because there's far more people hurt, which is what I like to call it, than there is authoritarian church hurt that happens within the body of Christ.
6:58
And so it's important to clarify the two because the church didn't hurt you.
7:06
Someone in the church hurt you.
7:07
It might have been a leader, but it also might have just been someone who goes to the church.
7:12
And I can say if we want to define things as people hurt, then I would say I've been hurt by probably a lot more people than most people listening to this podcast as a pastor.
7:22
Yep.
