Oct 22, 2026

24:59
I think I'm going to be a TD next.
25:02
I recently wrote a TV show and RT did this thing called Storyland where they basically open up a window for aspiring writers to submit scripts.
25:13
And I used to always get asked, would you ever do a TV show? And I was like, yeah, that's the end goal.
25:17
But I just never had a good idea, you know.
25:18
And I didn't want to just write a script for the sake of it.
25:20
So...
25:21
I kind of, like, started thinking, like, what's something I can relate to that I can pull from? And I'm the only one of all my friends that doesn't have kids at the moment, you know? So I'm always like, girls, when are we booking a holiday? Girls, when are we going on a night out? And they're like, Enya, like, you know, we fucking have to get babysitters.
26:11
Yeah, he's a fabulous writer.
12:20
This is where Enya Martin from Get Up Out of That here on Saturday mornings gives us something that she's noticed this week.
12:27
Yeah, so, you know, something that might be a controversial take.
12:31
So I was, I went out with my friend the other night and she kind of lives a bit out.
12:36
So like I stayed over in her house.
12:38
So I was able to drive home the next day then.
12:40
But her boyfriend brought the dog out for a walk and it was absolutely lashing rain.
12:45
And the dog came back and jumped up on our bed.
13:31
There you go.

8:34

8:35
Anya? Yeah like a lot of people would come to me I suppose maybe for like public speaking or something like that Yes you know, or like advice on exercise and stuff.
8:46
But yeah, like I suppose life advice.
8:49
Yeah, I've been through the mill, you know, like I've kind of built my own foundation on my own life.
8:54
But yeah, I love when people admire my work and stuff and they come to me for advice.
8:58
So that's really flattering.
8:58
Yeah, I was subscribed to Áine.
11:04
you'll be pinching yourself daily I'm going to get so many complaints for that but anyway
CrossyHOST
13:54
The correct answer is true.
13:56
I Bet You Look Good on the Dance Floor is a single from the Arctic Monkeys.
14:00
In what suburb of Dublin are the National Botanic Gardens? It's Glass Nevins.
14:04
He got that one wrong.
14:06
What was the ice cream brand? Where was the ice cream brand Haagen-Dazs founded? It was found in America.
14:12
You said Germany.
14:13
What Irish singer has a song satisfied at the moment with Calvin Harris? It was Jazzy, correct.
14:38

2:25
So your car is parked outside your house because you came in in a taxi and the car window was open.
2:31
And it started raining.
2:32
Now, I'm side stage about to go on, all right, about five minutes from going on stage.
2:36
And my ma texts me, Enya, your car window is open, hun.
2:39
Right, so I didn't even see, I didn't reply.
2:41
And then about 10 minutes later, she follows up with a voice message.
2:44
She's like, Enya, I've been trying to go out and pull your window down.

9 MINS LATER

CrossyHOST
12:15
His name is Dominic Holland.
speaker_0UNKNOWN
24:01
Is that his thing? Was he doing that on the Love Island?
24:03
So basically, he got the, the place in Love Island because he did a very goofy audition, okay? And he was behaving very [laughs] quirky, and they didn't show that in the villa.
24:13
He was very serious in the villa.
24:14
Now, on the best bits, they showed some funny bits of him.
24:17
But he keeps trying to, like, reiterate when he's in interviews or on podcasts, "No, I was funny.
24:21
Look, I can be goofy," and he starts kinda acting-

25:57
So what's today's Enya's Eyes?
25:59
So something I've experienced during the week that I think a lot of other people can relate to, which is the purpose of Enya's Eyes, something that's universal.
CrossyHOST
9:00
Let's just stay.
9:01
do you know what it's like it's very similar to going to a wedding and being at a table with people you don't know and then by the end of the night you're all best friends and that's what it was like I met like a really gas bunch of girls but lads the heat was unbearable it must have been about it was 24 degrees but it was the humidity I mean like we were when we would leave one place we would be running into the air con oh my god it was absolutely unbearable

15 MINS LATER

24:05
yeah.
24:06
Because I was talking to a guy during the week of Friends and we were talking about this and he said, yeah, I'm paying over 100 quid a month to my gym.
24:15
You get all these, you know, fancy things thrown in, steam room, pool.
24:18
He's like, I just like going in, lifting a few weights and leaving.
24:21
He's like, I could be paying 45 euro a month.
24:23
but I'm paying 100 quid because when she was selling it to me, she was, you know, obviously talking it up.
DarrenHOST
4:32
What do you think, Enya?
4:34
I get overstimulated as it is in confined spaces.
4:37
And when someone has no spatial or, you know, self-awareness, they have their phone on loudspeaker or they're watching videos on TikTok.
4:44
I remember flying before and we were on the runway for a good 45 minutes and someone was on loudspeaker for the whole 45 minutes.
4:52
And it's like, does nobody just pull them aside and have a word? Like, you know, it's obviously not the first time, but it's so annoying and it's so disrespectful.
5:01
Unless they're chatting about something interesting though.
5:02
Yeah, that's true.
DarrenHOST
6:00
chat full blown radio level and the mouth is taped What about people who have their phone on the table at dinner? Do you think that's a bad one,
