So me and my family, we go to Dorset quite a lot, and obviously Mary Anning lived in Lyme Regis, which is in Dorset, and we always go fossil hunting when we're there.

And I just randomly one night, I was listening to Story Quest, and I was like, "Mom, I would like you to apply for me to have a story written about me losing all of my favorite fossils."

Mm.

And, um, it's very swirly, and, um, this one is actually my dad's, and, um, he found it, and he gave it to me.

And it's one of my very lucky fossils.

[laughs]

Okay.

So, uh, yes, we are both lifelong readers and writers.

We met at a job o- like, 12 years ago.

Um, we've worked together twice, and we both grew up in, like, fandom spaces as kids and teenagers and spent a lot of time, like, reading and writing fan fiction.

And when we first met, Annie was the first person I'd ever met, like, in real life who'd also [laughs] been, like, in, in, like, online fandom growing up.

And so it was just, like, sort of this instant connection.

So they sent you, like, a packing list, and there were things like you needed 10 dresses, like date dresses, eight farm wear outfits, and then casual outfits.

And everything that you packed you had to have it photographed and sent to wardrobe to be approvedSo then while you're away, you're like, "Well, I didn't expect the weather to be like this." So we had a rodeo that we all had to go to, and it was in the middle of New South Wales, middle, like, it was cold.

There, it was a small house.

So his house was split into two.

He had, like, a granny flat, and that's where all the production side, um, crew were all sleeping.

And then we were in the main house.

You don't have a hero complex?

Absolutely not.

So last summer, my cousin who is a musician was having a choir concert with his group downtown and my boyfriend and I decided to go.

I work sometimes from downtown LA so I'm familiar with downtown proper, but not all of the neighborhoods.

So this was somewhere that I'd never visited before.

We're driving around looking for parking and you guys know how horrific parking in LA can be.

This is more of a residential area though.

Why did he leave?

It sounds like it's gonna be fine, honestly.

I think we'll feel stressed.

I think that this child will inherit probably some money scripts.

I think that there's certain things in our life that we think maybe could change but, like, don't know how to change and don't know how to approach thinking about changing.

One other example is, like, a second car or trading in our current car because this year, with Matt having not had a job, we qualify for the used EV tax credit, and I've always wanted an EV.

And we have until the end of the calendar year to make that decision, but we look at that and go, "Eh, you know, like, 20, $21,000, $18,000, plus having to install a charger.

Is that worth it?" Like, we don't have the cash flow, but we have the savings, and so we've been...
