Now we got over 200 and, and, you know, s- still struggling because the price of milk has dropped.
6:18
And, um, yeah, and we gradually built the farm up.
6:22
We only had 140 acres when we started.
6:25
And, um, I remember my neighbor, uh, neighbor and farmer, he got short of money and, and he, he offered us, uh, his first field at tw- uh, 10 acres for £12,000.

20:22
So, so Derek B, if, if there was some sort of incentive there, if there was some funding there, would you want to do more, more, more sort of conservation stuff on your farm?
20:33
I would do a certain amount or certain areas where you could...
20:37
I've got certain areas now where the cattle go in where they shouldn't.
40:25
I'm interested, where does this whole sort of debate sit on your priority list as a farmer?
40:29
Well, it don't, it don't, it, it don't affect me, uh, really.
40:33
I do my bit on the farm, trying to fence off woodland and corner of fields and all that, like we've done it in the past, and I'll be doing more in the future.
40:42
But we don't let it affect the farming, 'cause farming's main, my main, uh, priority.
40:47
That's where we get our money from.
40:48
That w- what pays the bills and pays the mortgage.
41:32
And I suppose these kind of rewilding efforts and, and improvements you can make to your bottom line are, are sort of good for business resilience generally?
41:41
Of course they are.
