yeah i think like underpinning what are the purpose for each thing what's the outcome that we're praying for i think theologically we want to start from the bible um what does a mature disciple look like and build our ministries up from there and i think it's going to be like in terms of people we deploy and ask to take ownership under us, that's going to be dependent on the senior leader and their strengths and weaknesses and what's going to complement them.
29:05
I think asking a similar question to what Dave Jensen was urging us to ask yesterday is, what next? So you get a newcomer, comes along to church.
29:16
How are you going to triage that person? How are you going to work out whether or not they're Christians, whether or not they're somebody who wants to join your church? What's the next step for that person? And I think that's a very powerful question to ask because a lot of the time we're just kind of floating along and we don't really have a next step.
29:37
We haven't thought intentionally about it.
29:38
We just kind of hope that they will somehow make their way into the life of our church.
29:45
And so asking that question for newcomers, for people who are not Christians yet, what is the next thing that we want for them? How do we want them to continue to grow in their knowledge and love for Jesus? How do we want them, firstly, to connect with who Jesus is and what he's done for us? I think that's a very powerful question to ask, and it doesn't matter whether you're 10 people or 1,000 people.

What exactly is happening during this eclipse?
0:53
Well, of course, a solar eclipse is caused when the moon moves in front of the sun, and it will nearly perfectly cover the sun from Ireland.
1:02
Not exactly.
1:03
That hasn't happened on Irish soil since 1724.
1:07
A lot of people are off to Spain, where it will totally cover the sun, but we will get a very deep eclipse of the sun.
1:14
Only 2% will be left down in the southwest of the country, and about 6% of the sun's diameter will be left up, even in the northeast, the worst part.
1:24
Uh, so that's practically all of the sun gone.

... do people need to do about protecting their eyes? You mentioned the special glasses.

Y- we're after pulling down a house of cards, the biggest radio station in Ireland, only because we think your daughter has been abused."
6:08
abused."She reluctantly said, "We believe that she was." So I went back to Cooke, and I said to him, "Cooke, you're a pedophile, and you're gonna pay for it one day." And with this, he says, "James, I'll see you six foot under." And I said, "Are you threatening me? Are you threatening to kill me?" He said, "Ah, no, James.
6:39
You're mistaken.
6:41
I think you worry so much, you'll put yourself in an early grave."
7:38
Though he'd long since stopped his Caped Crusader work, Cooke clearly maintained his Garda connections.
7:44
I came in one day, and there was this guard sitting in the, in the, in the chair.
7:49
Big, big burly guard, the waistcoat off.
7:52
And I was introduced to a guy called Bimbo.

I think she got a bit upset about, like, her house was now sort of like O'Connell Street, you know, like, uh, there was people coming at all hours of the night.
10:52
Joan was his second wife.
10:54
I, I think she, she did suffer from her mental health.
10:58
I wouldn't blame her, because it was so tough there, you know? [laughs] It really was.
11:03
And Joan would look absolutely fabulous one day, and she would be in the horrors the next day, and, um, she was a very nice woman, but, um, I, I think being married to him was a difficult one, you know?
11:26
But for Siobhan and Anne, who you met in our previous episode, they knew of a much darker reality upstairs, and they knew they weren't the only children being brought there.
11:39
The, the process of grooming and the steps along the way, and ultimately culminating in, in him taking children to bed naked and, and penetrating, that culminated in, for instance, carrying Siobhan and I in, in both arms naked into his bedroom.
10:25
Between Gardai raids and a radio station operating out of her house, she was now a stranger in her own home
10:32
I met Joan.
10:33
Joan was a lovely woman, a really lovely woman

46:21
All right.
46:21
Well, I mean, I could, I could call a play.
46:23
It wouldn't mean anything.
46:24
So he'd say, he'd get in the huddle and go, uh, "Sync to bunch right, uh, full Rocco, four trade, check Miami right."
49:36
It's 10 yards on either side of the line of scrimmage that you can chop, or no?
49:38
It's, it's, I think it's, like, it's more, like, three.
49:41
Once you get tackle to tackle, you can chop, like, a defensive...
13:42
of work like this?
13:43
My wife was right.
13:45
My wife's from New York.
13:46
She's from Staten Island.
13:48
Staten Island.
13:48
I had a comedy club day on New Dolphin Rush.
13:51
Tell the story, Dave.
15:36
I couldn't even
