Country Calendar producer Dan Henry, who's having none of these attempts to stretch the definition of reality to include his show.

I think reality TV for most people describes something that is heavily orchestrated with situations that are contrived.

What the producers are seeking to do is to create conflict, drama, edginess, and, you know, the salacious stuff that people come to expect on those shows.

To me, Country Calendar is the antithesis of that.

Country Calendar is absolutely real television, but it's not reality TV.

It's authentic TV.
