Maybe we start with just a definition of justice, or what are we talking about when we say God's justice?

Well, you hit the nail on the head there with the qualifier of it being gods.

So justice is not a human invention.

Again, I just talked about this Sunday night, so it's really fresh on the mind.

But we often talk about whether it's common law, which would date back to English common law, which goes back to Alfred the Great, or some would say maybe even before him.

You go all the way back to Hammurabi's code, which is way thousands of years ago.

The moral Torah of the Ten Commandments, if you want to go there.

But what are your thoughts even going back to the Old Testament and seeing love and grace and mercy intertwined with justice? And I think it's the Christian who doesn't know a whole lot about the Old Testament or really digs into it and looks at it and understands what type of world the Jewish people and the Israelites were living in then to go, this was a revolutionary act that God gave down to the Israelites when creating that civil law.

Maybe the most important one is that when we read the Bible, we're reading it for the good of our souls and the sanctification of our lives and not for, you know, quipping and arguing with someone else on social media.

I couldn't agree more, though I am not, and I say this in jest to my dear friend Rosaria, who prior to hitting record said she's a Luddite.

I know her well enough to know that that's kind of maybe true, and there's a lot of nuance there.

But I am, again...

Literally this morning, my wife and I were talking about, do we just get rid of our smartphones and go to like old flip phones? And because there's just so much temptation, whether it's social media or just time wasting in general, just getting on there.

And before you realize every for iPhone users, you know what I'm talking about.
