Factory ammo.

Factory ammo.
7:10
In most instances, the ma- r- the 7 PRCs that I've had have typically shot the 175 ELD-Xs more accurately, and so I definitely have more experience using those.
7:21
Um, but I've still, with those 160 CXs, I just used that on a recent trip to Africa, um, and a, and a trip prior.
7:30
I mean, I think I've probably still shot a dozen animals or more with that 160-grain CX.
7:35
I personally am a big fan of copper bullets.
7:38
I love copper bullets, and that CX in particular has never done me wrong.

9 MINS LATER

17:07
Yeah.
59:39
Mm-hmm.
59:39
They're known for their ARs.
59:41
Last year, uh, they stepped into the bolt action world and came out with a high-end rifle they're calling the Electus, and I got one of those last fall for, for testing.
59:53
I took it on an elk hunt, shot a, shot a nice bull here in Idaho with it.
59:56
I now just took that same rifle to Africa with me a couple weeks ago, shot quite a few animals with it, and I really like that rifle.
60:07
You know, coming...
60:07
It has that Manor stock that we were talking about-

14 MINS LATER

74:28
Tell folks a little bit about what you do and where, where they can find you and your work.
50:04
You're prone on the bipod.
50:05
I'm prone on the bipod.
50:07
I've got a cartridge in the chamber.
50:09
Um, I mean, I'm, for all intents and purposes, I'm ready to shoot this sheep.
50:16
And he was not giving us the right angles, and then he was on the skyline, and then he was right on the edge of cover and was gonna, you know, there wasn't gonna be any chance for a follow-up shot.
50:29
And the only way that I can explain it, and I've, I've, honestly, I've never had, I've never quite felt this way.
50:37
When I was looking at this ram in my scope, crosshairs on him, I just had this, like, almost sick-to-my-stomach feeling that that just wasn't my ram.

16 MINS LATER

67:14
Mm.
13:12
Mm-hmm.
13:12
But my guess is that 257 is probably gonna outperform the 25 RPM out to maybe 400 yards in terms of, like, velocity and, uh, foot pounds of energy, but then it's gonna fall off much faster, while that 250, or while the 25 RPM and that heavier bullet is gonna carry, you know, that heavier, heavier hitting power at those extended distances.

44 MINS LATER

57:58
Sure.
57:58
I'm very, very confident and comfortable with that rifle.
58:01
You know, I've shot a handful of animals with it, and so I wouldn't say it's really a fair comparison.
58:06
The 25 RPM, though, like we talked about earlier, I mean, I think it definitely has its place.
58:12
Like, if you were a dedicated long range hunter, like, if you want that ability to, you know, have a little more knockdown power at those extended ranges, uh, the 25 RPM is, is the route to go.
