Four years ago, I founded Meet Margo with my husband.

So we're a tech-first mortgage and protection brokerage, all about helping women and home ownership.

We always get asked, why women? And when we look at the lifespan of a woman, you've got these series of financial issues or economic shocks, if you like, that really impacts their financial resilience.

Everything from, you know, the gender pay gap right the way through to the impacts of divorce, career breaks at the decide of children and through to living longer with less in our pension pot.

So we built Meet Margo to help more women navigate home ownership in light of all these barriers.

And I think The one thing that has really surprised us in the past three to four years has been the amount of women coming to us with economic abuse at play through their joint mortgage.
