Well, I think that you summed it up very well.

I think that's a, a good analysis.

But I think that, you know what? We've got a lot of people in politics who've got, who've said a lot of things on Twitter before they got into politics, and I think we're gonna see more and more of that as, you know, Gen Xers like myself start aging out and we have millennials and Gen Zers coming up who've put their every thought on social media.

But you gotta be a better communicator at explaining your evolution on issues than Ms. Hong was.

Like, what's so extreme about their policies that it's more extreme than abolish the Senate, change our... upend our government? 'Cause frankly, man, I'd rather pay a little bit more in gas than take a risk on people who are gonna totally upend our branches of government.

You know, look, I mean, again, I think people should be careful who they campaign with, and I think voters in Michigan are gonna have to weigh that against all other things.

The shock jock, jock is out there with a guy that wants to be an, the United States senator.

Again, I mean, that is up for the voters to decide if they're gonna judge him by the company they keep.

I, I don't think that that's an accurate way to judge a politician.

You gotta ask them what are they gonna do for you.

I, I'm not, you know, we haven't done tons of travelings, so I have to just maybe assume that it's part of the Hispanic culture, but maybe it, maybe it's around the world, but, like, we've met Mexicans who are so welcoming and, you know, they find out that we're new, and they'll actually...

You know? Like, right, like, "Come see where we live and what neighborhood, and we'll take you to this, we should sh- we'll show you what grocery stores are good and stuff." And, like, uh, in, in Southern California, if you met someone-

Do you have any advice for others who may be thinking about making such a big change?

I think that my advice would be to, if it, if it interests you at all, to really, really consider doing it and allowing the fear of regret outweigh your fear of change.

We, Deanna and I, Deanna and I aren't the, we're not the average adventurous, you know, "Oh my gosh, l- why don't we sell everything and move to Mexico?" Like, we, in order to move here, we sold our starter home that we bought 24 years ago.

All right, Chris, what was your reaction to the hearing?

I mean, if they really want to get answers, what they need to do is give the witness immunity, right? We live in a a world right now where the former FBI director is being prosecuted by the justice department of the United States for an Instagram photo of seashells.

Um, I worked in a restaurant.

86 means it's not on the menu anymore.

It doesn't mean it's to kill it.

Um, So I think that that would have been what we would do in a normal society.

We would we would give the person immunity and let him come and testify and get real answers, especially since he's already has a pardon for anything he may have done in the past.

I think Dan Goldman was a great congressman, an up and coming Democrat.

I don't know why anybody wouldn't think he was tough enough on Trump since he led the first impeachment against Donald Trump.

It's beyond me how he got thrown out.

Look, you went down a road about statements he made that most people don't know, uh, and when he campaigned, he campaigned on things like lowering prices, sounded a lot like Trump in 2024.

I think that the squishy mis- middle voted for Trump because he said he was gonna get down prices.

And by the way, he didn't have to give a plan, neither did Trump.

He just wanted, people wanna know that the person who they're gonna vote for cares about the issues they care about and they're gonna try to fix it.

I don't talk about it, but if I see somebody in need, I absolutely give them money.
