So the majority leader would bring the bill to the floor.

He would make the bill the pending business.

So the Senate can only ever consider one piece of legislation at a time.

So there's always a piece of pending business or the next thing that the Senate's going to move to.

Now, thanks to some of the procedural maneuvers from the House where they're sending over a bill that already passed the Senate, amending it, and then sending it back, that expedites consideration for that bill.

And Democrats should take heed that this is very popular in their districts, too.

Well, I think what that shows is that this isn't actually about the logistics.

This isn't about whether or not someone can get a passport or whether or not someone can bring their birth certificate to the polling place.

This is because the Democrats don't like this policy because they know that lax elections benefit them.

they know that their voters are more likely to be those who might be voting fraudulently.

So they can bring all of the paperwork arguments.

They can bring any number of claims about what may or may not happen as a result of this bill passing.

It's not going to work.
