Um, so it sounds like a lot of what it's about is kind of dropping this, this story of like personal efforting and like telling ourselves this big story and, and kind of selfing into it in a way.

Is that kind of tracking with what you're saying?

You say... [chuckles] It kind of broke up, but I heard you say that, you said that the selfing, the self efforting is something to drop?

So go back to y- you were talking about getting cards signed and, like, how, how you treat kinda different ones, or if you do treat them differently.

Mm-hmm.

Yeah, so I, I, I treat a- all cards the same, you know? Uh, put the same amount of care into each one.

Um, but with them, you know, with the case hits getting signed at signings, I feel like the, uh, like what makes them different is the fact that they're so rare and people haven't really thought to get them signed yet.

So a- anything collectors should look for when sending a card in for a grading, for a case hit, you know? Are there anything different they need to be looking for? Or kinda talk about the kinda four things that you look for when sending off a card for grading.

Yeah, just, uh, anything you'd be normally looking for, so the corners, edges, surface, uh, and any other defects that you have going on.

So I like to look for...

I like to start with the surface.

And w- we've felt this.

Like, you know, we weren't...

People who are getting married at 30 are, like, understand how life works a little bit more and are probably more often than not less financially stressed.

And just enjoy those times together, uh, 'cause there will be hard times.

Um, and I knew I was never gonna go back and review like that exact question, so I didn't really save all my work in terms of like figuring out those long problems.

I would just do them on scratch paper and then make sure I wrote down the concept and the formulas, and those were kind of what I hammered, uh, reviewing was those, those questions.

So like if there was 30 on a, on like leases, per se, 30 questions, um, I would have like the main bullet point answer for each question, and then it wouldn't always click right away.

Sometimes it takes a few weeks or whatnot-

And so I'd ask New like, "Explain this to me in simple terms," um, or, "Explain it to me like I'm five," and it did a really good job of explaining, and then I would kind of take that and put it in the Word document.

Um, but the main thing for me was like I'm just gonna keep it moving.

How'd you guys find him, identify him, and what do you see on film with Roach?

We had a nice conversation in our group about, um, I think we're all quite involved in lots of things and doing and creating a lot.

Um, so just talking about finding that balance and, uh, one person saying, you know, maybe rather than creating the next thing to actually lean into the difficult part of, like, being there to support a friend and deepen a relationship.

Um, or, yeah, to tune into the intention of, like, why am I actually doing this thing and do I wanna continue it? Um, and then for me to actually participate in someone else's thing, um-

So, so tell me how you heard about JAG, and why you got involved, and, and what it did for you.

Yes, sir.

Well, the way I got started with JAG was I was honestly a troubled person, I would say.

Not in the ways where I just couldn't follow rules, but I felt like I didn't have a reason to follow rules.

I didn't have, like, a sense of purpose, s- if that makes sense.

So without a sense of purpose, what am I really striving for? So what, what do I wanna do? And since I didn't know that, I just was doing anything with my life, living life day by day, just always fighting, always angry.

It was just not good.

So what do you wanna do?

Yeah, this really brings a lot of joy to my heart, because I feel like it's really easy to get lost in metaphysical speculation, and it's a relief that we don't have to.

Um, and in that way, I really feel like the Dhamma is a breath of fresh air, because it kind of serves as a reminder that we don't have to get lost, and if we do, we can get out of that mess right here and right now, anytime we realize it.
