Brian Nash, my friend, how you doing? What are you
0:49
drinking? I am fantastic tonight.
0:53
I've been looking forward to this.
0:58
A couple of guys I recognize.
1:00
A couple of faces I don't recognize.
1:02
I'm looking forward to getting to play some games with some new folks.
1:06
And to celebrate, I'm going to go straight.

43 MINS LATER

ToriGUEST
44:18
This was the one that we struggled with.
73:27
Um, w- so okay, when did you watch
73:29
watchThe London pro shot, was it purely for this episode or had you seen it before? Purely for this.
73:34
Okay.
73:34
No, I was gonna go see it in London and then, uh, I heard it was coming over so I just didn't.
73:39
Okay.
73:40
Um, and then I just didn't watch the pro shot basically because I, I didn't know how I was gonna feel about it- Okay ... honestly.
73:48
Um, and I absolutely fell in love with the production a third of the way through.

56 MINS LATER

130:09
Mm-hmm.
10:11
Go on then.
10:11
The...
10:12
I don't disagree with you, but, uh, on, on, on the other side of it, is it just a blip? And I've also...
10:18
The thing about, for me, about the sacking, there was a bit about, you know, we, we talked about last time about the g- the grief surrounding Jota, uh, the injuries to players.
10:28
Um, but towards the end of the season, it looked like he'd lost the players.
10:34
The, the, the, the only performance we saw, and that was only really a half performance, was in the derby 'cause there was something at stake.
10:41
The rest of it looked like they were unplugged.

12 MINS LATER

22:56
Long ball."
6:43
Slade? No, what is that?
6:46
Slade is a four-piece band from Wolverhampton.
6:49
in England and they were kind of at the peak of glam rock when I was probably about your age and I love Slade the songs were great and they were raucous and they were loud and then but also prior to that I'd seen David Bowie and that's what kind of made me want to think I could I want to do what he's doing that's great that was something listening to him perform Life on Mars on Top of the Pops with the video of him in the blue suit, and that just blew my mind.
7:26
But really, in later years, when I started playing, and I've been playing for a few years now, You know, the bands I've just been talking about, like Bowie and Slade, they were far away.
7:39
They were on stages in theatres.
7:42
And for me, as a scruffy kid from Liverpool, to be able to make that leap from being here to being there is something that was...
7:53
You had to get a record deal, and how would you even get one of those? And then you'd have to write songs, blah, blah, blah.

37 MINS LATER

44:56
Can you remember specifically any good quotes or advice given to you by any musician?
ChrisHOST
29:11
Name one of the two bands that Paul Weller fronted.
29:19
Paul Weller.
29:27
In '91, this is...
29:29
This should be in my wheelhouse.
29:39
And I'm drawing a complete blank, so I'm going to try Bad Company.

38 MINS LATER

ChrisHOST
67:51
You'll be a winner tomorrow 'cause your wife gets home, but for tonight, any parting words, anything you wanna plug or promote or causes you wanna bring attention to, the floor is yours.
68:02
Um, before I say my usual, I will simply say, please, folks, um, it's possibly more important this year than ever before, get your ass out there and vote this year.
68:17
We need, we, we, we need to let the powers that be know that we're not happy with where we're at.
78:52
[laughs]
78:53
RR.
78:56
I'm, I'm gonna say, [sighs] ah, my nephew was born in '88.... eight, he was super into the Power Rangers at that point as a very little kid.
79:15
So I'm gonna say 1994.
Turner
TurnerHOST
80:32
Uh, so Brian, as, as the winner, I mean, I guess you, you've alr- you've already said a little bit, uh, say the rest of your piece, plugs, shout-outs, what we got?
80:40
Uh, I will say support your local trivia hosts.
80:45
Uh, support your local artists.
80:47
Support your local bands.
37:14
Yeah.
37:14
And there was some stuff on there, like the interviews that were on the B-sides, and it's like, "Ugh.
37:19
That's just, nah." You know? It's old.
37:21
Give 'em something else, some- something that they haven't heard, you know? So...
37:25
And it seems like they want...
37:26
Given the reaction to this, that they maybe wanna do the same thing for the Liverpool album.
37:30
So I'm hoping that me and Ped, uh, can get down to the archive.
41:17
That's incredible.
