Was there a time or like a moment that kind of gave you the push to sort of lean vegan or have you always been like an animal lover?
11:28
I've always been an animal lover, yeah.
11:31
There are certain moments in your life, aren't there, where I don't know how you feel about it, which change your feelings.
11:36
I do remember being scared of things that buzzed, like bees and wasps and everything.
11:42
In those days, my mum used to have a thing called a flick gun, which I suppose was DDT in a can, and you pumped it and pumped it and pumped it to spray.
11:51
And I remember in the understairs cupboard, suddenly there was this huge insect, which I suppose was a bug.
11:58
I don't know if it was a wasp or...

18:51
which is what does good food mean to you?
5:28
How did it c- how did this come into your life?
5:33
Well, [laughs] it goes back a long way to when I was a kid eating my breakfast cereal, and in those days, you used to get toys with your breakfast.
5:43
It doesn't happen anymore now, isn't that rather sad? But with Weetabix, you used to get little cards at one point, um, which had two little images on them.
5:52
And I remember taking this one picture out of the, the, the packet, and it was of a hippopotamus.
5:57
But there's two images of it, and each of the images is flat, and it says on the back, "Send away a packet top and one and six pence, and we will send you a stereo viewer, and you can look at these things as they're meant to be seen." This is what I did.
6:10
In the post comes the viewer.
6:11
I pop in the hippopotamus, and suddenly the thing isn't two flat pictures anymore.
9:57
What did you hear exactly?
15:59
And that's one of the things I've found very interesting working with Brian, is you only need, like, five seconds, and it can completely transform how a piece feels, how you feel about a piece.
16:09
Well, that's great.
16:10
It, for me, it was instant.
16:12
You know, I could hear it in my head immediately.
16:13
And the first time you ever played those chords to me, I thought, "Yeah, that's where I need to be." I could hear it in my head, and it came out great, I must say.
16:23
[singers vocalizing] [dramatic music] I also persuaded Daniel to leave something off, which I'm very proud of, because the very first thing you heard was, was gonna be, like, synths and choir and everything.
17:29
And then, and then we happened to, by accident, I think, just hear it choir on its own, and I went, "Oh, you've gotta start with just the choir," 'cause it's so ethereal.

What did you hear exactly?
