If I go into the app and bookmark two or three must-see sessions, what would you recommend?
16:34
Oh, wow.
16:34
I mean, there's so many.
16:36
Literally, we program nearly 200 hours of content.
16:40
It's hard for me to call out just a couple because there are so many that I love and it'll be unfair to the others.
16:48
I will say this.
16:49
We did not yet talk about our main stage and our main stage.

7 MINS LATER

23:26
Is there a success story that comes to mind or a significant outcome that happened with its origins at ITC and maybe could not have happened anywhere else?
1:22
I don't
1:22
tell her that.
1:26
But look, there's a great origin story.
1:28
Matt, you've probably heard this, but Nigel, I swear, 11 years ago, we first started ITC maintenance, or really 10 years ago, that's the 11th show.
1:37
In 2016, you were at, I believe, Deloitte, right? I was.
1:41
I was.
1:41
So we got referred to you.

20 MINS LATER

22:10
So what are you most looking forward to this year then?
6:21
know
6:21
most people don't really talk about you're not going out to the pub and talking about really insurance i mean you might be but your average your average bloke isn't really sitting around just talking about insurance all the time but it affects their life and every time i read you know an article or whatever i have an experience i'm always thinking like oh wow there's an insurance component to it so it's easy for me to get jazzed up right? And now I see, you know, not just really, you know, obviously when we started 10 years ago, it was really about InsureTech.
6:50
It was about the startups and really about, you know, what the change was happening and how that was going to affect, you know, affect really or displace or disrupt maybe some of those legacy carriers.
7:09
Right now, it's not really about the The disruption of the legacy, it's really more about how those legacy carriers, how those traditional incumbents have adopted the technology.
7:23
Insurance is too big of an industry for the too big to fail kind of mantra, really.
7:31
tags, insurance carriers.
7:32
They're too big.

5 MINS LATER

12:34
you know i don't really
28:05
Like, "Oh, I need more information on this." That friction has been solved to a large part.
28:10
And it also, what I see is there used to be this old maxim, you can have two out of three of good, fast and cheap.
28:19
Now you really can have all three because, you know, all the insurance policies are going to be good.
28:25
Pricing is going to be somewhat competitive.
28:28
But that speed component has always been, I think, where the devil in the details meet up, right? So if you are able to get your client a quote faster or information faster or whatever it is faster, especially ahead of another competitor, boy, you know, like that just makes that old maxim, you can only have two out of the three, throws that right out the window.
28:54
And from, again, a customer experience perspective, you're gonna overjoy your customers if you're giving them wicked fast service with a competitive price quote, with a great product.
29:05
And insurance is complicated as all get out.
33:19
How much are you seeing in terms of AI in the actual distribution? So how do agencies communicate with insurance companies or how-- Are you seeing more of that or not?
27:49
I wondered if he felt remorseful about his years as a militant.
27:53
A woman named Myrna Opsahl got killed because of the car.
27:56
You don't have to remind me.
27:57
You don't have to remind me.
27:59
But you can't control some of these things, you know, and it happens, and then you're responsible.
28:04
Your intentions mean little at that point, you know.
28:08
You're stuck with the consequence.
30:47
Harris and I talked about this in a follow-up interview.
