Beverly, I have a funny feeling you're not going to totally disagree, but please, I don't want to prejudge.

I think we're all going to be in semi-agreement on this.

Now, I will say that I have some sympathy to President Trump being frustrated with how he is covered.

I think he's often unfairly covered, but that doesn't mean that you restrict the press.

I personally was against Trump President Obama wanting to try to restrict Fox News.

And I give a lot of other outlets credit who defended Fox News at that time.

I will defend any outlet with the ability to be able to cover our government.

Just want to make sure we all understand

Who will it hurt him with?

Well, it will hurt him with anybody over 40.

And that's the more more voters over 40 vote than those under 20.

So I know that there is this kind of online bro following that Tucker has.

He does have a pretty large following, but they are not the consistent voters out there.

So I think it does hurt J.D. tremendously.

Now, as far as how he handled this, something he did really well here.

But are you bullish on this strategy currently to kind of try to make further economic pressure points onto Tehran?

mentioned one thing that he said about growing our way out of this debt he's wrong we can't we can only cut our way out of this debt and i know that one of the reasons why he's saying that is because congress has no appetite for actually dealing with entitlements but we are putting all of this on gen z on children grandchildren if we don't do something about it but there doesn't seem to be an appetite so it's a cutting we need to cut spending um but even beyond that As we look at this economic situation with Iran, I think it's the right next step because nobody wants boots on the ground.

So unless you get out completely and admit failure and give Iran complete control of the strait, this is the next step.

Now, this is going to take a lot of time.

And President Trump, here's where I give him credit.

I may disagree with us going in to begin with, but we're there.

What do you do now? I give him credit for not...

So when you watch him, what does he seem like he's trying to do?

Well, I'm not sure if he knows because he doesn't even know that he can't arrest BB.

So does he really know whether or not he can run for president someday? I would love.

I would love to see what that is, but he does, in my opinion, fundamentally want to change the country and loves the popularity, loves the power that he has.

He loves the camera.

I do think it's interesting.

I think it was probably two or three months ago you asked me about this, Mark, on your show.

Can Republicans, without my colleagues actually helping them, you know, doing their job, can Republicans get that message out to voters in a systematic way with all that money?

Yeah.

I mean, the MOU from the beginning I thought was a joke.

I think it's great to try to find diplomatic endings to this.

I've been hesitant about us going into in-- from the beginning because unless there is regime change, how does this end if the Iranian people don't rise up? And so at this point, you have Rubio leading the charge.

I, I really think the battle between Vance and Rubio is fascinating.

It is a battle between different worldviews of how to deal with foreign policy and will carry into the next presidential election.

And so no, you never believe what the Iranians say.

How common is that, Beverly?

the big Zen, the big Zen meaning of it all for you?

Well, from a very broad 30,000-foot view, look at this all.

The fact that the 37 endorsements by Trump were all winners for him, no losers, I think is a big statement.

So a Trump endorsement in the Republican Party still goes a long way.

Now we're gonna have to see how that translates into midterms, where in general election, his support among independents obviously isn't as high as it is with Republicans.

So we'll see how that translates, and that, of course, takes us to Texas.

I'm not happy with this move for the, for the president to endorse Ken Paxton over John Cornyn.
