Benjamin Netanyahu

Prime Minister of Israel

Sep 8, 2026

26:59
Have you ever imagined that Donald Trump would come and release you from prison after you were arrested by Kim Stermer or whoever was there?
27:10
Donald Trump usually has a very strong response against death sentences.
27:16
I would tell you, in any case, against campaigns, campaigns of oppression, in some ways, dead, dead.
27:25
But I can tell you that he, right now, who is leading this is Marco Rubio, the state prosecutor, and they are going to intensify the sanctions against the Hague.
27:37
But I don't want to cancel the problem we have.
27:40
On the one hand, I want to tell you, there is tremendous violence, of the strength of Israel.
27:47
Our military strength, our intelligence strength, our technological strength.

33:17
So, Prime Minister, was it possible to reach a complete victory and we
8:33
I'll come
8:33
up, yes.
8:33
You've come to Washington, so you can go there, but I'm definitely going there.
8:36
I'm going to speak the truth in front of this, you know, this just hate-spewing elected official.
8:44
who's pitting one group of New Yorkers against the others.
8:48
He's turning them against New York Jews.
8:51
I mean, what are we, in the 1930s? What is this? So much hate, so many lies.

So would it be useful to start with Herzl?
0:20
Well, I'd actually, I'd start, Herzl was what I call our modern Moses, but I'd actually start with the original Moses.
0:28
The Jewish people have lived in the land of Israel, what is now the state of Israel, have lived here and have been attached to this place for about 3,500 years.
0:41
Three and a half millennia.
0:43
Now, for the first two millennia, roughly, of that time, we were living in what is described in a text commonly known as the Bible.
0:52
So the Bible describes how the Jewish people lived on this land, were attached to this land, fought off conquerors, sometimes were conquered, but stayed on their land.
1:01
And that continued for a very long time until roughly the sixth, seventh century, actually, after the birth of Christ, okay? roughly for 2,000 years.

Ep.290 ~ Whats The Truth About Israel and Palestine- Benjamin Netanyahu ~ Jordan B Peterson

Jul 23 · 11m

So it is under the Arab conquest that the Jews lost their homeland.
0:05
The Arabs were the colonials.
0:06
The Jews were the natives dispossessed.
0:09
Well, that happens in history.
0:10
The Jews were dispossessed.
0:11
We were flung to the far corners of the earth.
5:13
So why do you think the claim that the Palestinians were somehow there in Israel first and have been displaced in a colonial occupation, let's say, by the Jews, why do you think that idea has gained such cachet not least in the West.
5:36
Because of ignorance? I mean, what do you mean they were here first? Well, you know, you're familiar with the story of Jesus, right? Jesus was a Jewish rabbi living here 2,000 years ago.
3:14
Prime Minister, are a special brand of people.
3:19
Yes, I think he understood that.
3:21
But I think he also understood that the security of Israel and America are intertwined because Israel is the one country.
3:30
country in the Middle East that is holding the Middle East together, that is preventing the Islamist radicals from taking over the Arabian Peninsula, the Jordan next to us, Egypt on the other side.
3:44
Israel's strength is America's strength.
3:46
He understood that.
3:48
And he followed through on that also in the Senate and various legislation throughout the years.
5:17
But overall, are you happy with where we are today in the American-Iran war and you guys with Hezbollah?
18:31
Prime Minister, what does his loss mean not only for you, but the people of Israel? What do you think the impact is globally?
18:43
In Israel, it's grief.
18:44
In Iran, it's celebration because, uh, Lindsey, uh, never confused good with, and evil.
18:50
He knew exactly where the Iranian regime is.
18:53
He thought it was a great danger, not merely to Israel and to America's allies in the Middle East, but to America itself, and he, he just never wavered.
19:02
You know, he was so clear.
19:03
He had clarity, he had courage, he had the convictions that he believed were at the basis of America that's...

25:46
Prime Minister?
6:50
Can you tell me what their capabilities are, what they were then after we hit, and what they are now? Do you have any idea?
6:57
Yes, of course I do.
6:59
Look, we went out first to the rising line operation, which President Trump added a midnight hammer, the use of the B-2s at the end of the operation.
7:13
We went to that and subsequently to what is called epic fury.
7:18
We call it a roaring line.
7:20
We went to that because Iran was on the verge of making nuclear weapons.
7:26
We pushed that immediate threat away.

9 MINS LATER

16:36
Is Hamas going to disarm? Are we ever going to get to phase two?
24:53
Uh, you said yesterday that would, quote, "Upset the power balance in the Middle East." Have you made that clear to President Trump?
25:04
Yes, I have.
25:04
Actually, I spoke to him several times about it, and, uh, I think that, uh, everybody understands that, uh, notwithstanding the personal friendship that President Trump has with, uh, with Erdogan, it doesn't make Turkey, uh, a friendly or, uh, uh, a friendly state to the United States.
25:21
To the contrary, it's a regime, uh, that's infected with, uh, uh, the Muslim Brotherhood, which hates the United States.
25:29
Uh, he harbors Hamas, the Hamas terrorists.
25:31
He supports them.
25:32
He finances them.

5 MINS LATER

30:37
What's different about now?
9:05
Do you take that as a warning that if Israel were to act alone, the Trump administration would withhold its backing?
9:15
Well, first of all, it concerns me that there is that element of anti-Israel, first of all, in the Democratic Party and in the woke right.
9:25
I'm concerned with that.
9:26
And to the extent that we can do something to mend it, obviously, I'll do it.
9:31
But I find that there is something unique about these attacks.
9:36
And that something is that the people who hate Israel end up hating America.
9:45
And I've seen that.
11:21
What do you say to those critics who accuse Israel of being in a permanent state of war?
24:43
Why do you think that is?
24:44
I think people don't see the, the direct connection between, uh, the dangers they would face tomorrow, uh, with the actions that we're doing today to remove those dangers.
24:53
And democracies always have that problem.
24:55
You know, they l- always look at the moment.
24:56
What's the next election cycle? What's the next, uh, headline, and so on.
25:00
And dictatorships are usually, uh, uh, immune to this because they don't really have public opinion to answer to.
25:05
And the question is, for leaders, it's a big, uh, it's a big challenge.
26:04
Or we just don't like the Israeli government.

5:45
Before I start, wanted to, to pitch a couple of the products there for the listeners.
5:48
The, the bovine colostrum's been fantastic.
5:51
My mom had tremendous results similar to the results your mom had with her hair and skin.
14:46
in Gaza and in Lebanon.
14:48
Israel has gone to unbelievable lengths to get innocent civilians out of harm's way.
14:55
We text message millions of text messages to them, uh, make millions of phone calls to them, pamphlets, leaflets, you name it, okay? We have seen the deterioration of, uh, support for Israel in the United States almost, uh, I would say it correlates almost 100% with the geometric rise of social media.
15:18
And that by itself is not what caused it, and I, I don't believe in, you know, in, in censoring them or anything.
15:24
But I'll tell you what happened.
15:26
We have several countries that basically manipulated social media, and they do it in a clever way.
15:34
And that's, that's something that has hurt us badly.
17:32
Prime Minister, there is an impression about you that it is a hunger that people perceive in you for conflict.
20:10
We've known each other 30, 35, maybe more years, and why at this point was this necessary?
20:18
Well, the first thing to understand is why it's necessary at any time.
20:22
Iran, for s- 47 years, has been chanting, "Death to America.
20:27
Death to Israel, too." But you're the big Satan.
20:29
We're the small Satan.
20:30
Death to America.
20:32
They've, uh, murdered and maimed thousands of Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan with their, uh, IEDs, these are roadside bombs.

5 MINS LATER

25:59
What are your thoughts?
7:43
Do you think that's a good idea, and do you think that there should be outside pressure now for regime change?
7:48
I think there is pressure.
7:49
Everybody wants to see that.
7:50
But I said, uh...
7:51
I was asked about that, and I said, "I'll tell you one definite time when we would, uh, resume our military activities.
7:58
If Iran attacks us, which they might, then there will be horrible consequences for Iran.
8:05
That's a definite." Everything else, I think we should, uh, we should see what is happening inside Iran.

9:08
Yes, I mean, it's clear that Netanyahu hasn't a- abandoned his plans to destroy Iran's nuclear and missile programs, and he talked about the threat that they pose.
10:42
What, what do you attribute the rise in antisemitism to that we've seen over the course of the past couple of years in the West?
10:47
It's a, uh, a cyclical phenomenon of, um, historical waves that come and go.
10:53
And my father was a great student of history, a great historian.
10:56
Uh, actually told me that this is something that's gonna come, because he studied it for a, you know, he studied, uh, a few thousand years of this.
11:04
So it keeps coming and going.
11:05
Of course, people's sense of history in, uh, this, uh, current discourse goes back to breakfast, so they don't know.
11:10
They should even look back at breakfast.
15:59
What comes next internally? What are the bridges that need to be, uh, built in- inside the state?
8:08
Mm-hmm.
8:09
Well, let me tell you about that.
8:10
So we were gonna have, uh, this ICC prosecutor, who's since been basically, uh, put to pasture.
8:18
Uh, this ICC prosecutor, uh, was gonna come to Israel in the beginning of the war, and he, uh, he said, "Well, Israel has, you know h- has a proper judicial system, and I, you know, I don't see any real problem there." And he was about to come, and a day before he's about to come, he suddenly cancels the trip.
8:39
And two days later, he issues this, uh, war crimes charge against me and the former defense minister.
8:45
And we didn't understand, why did he do it? It took us months to discover that a few days before that, he was, uh, confronted by one of his staff members, his senior staff members who brought the charges of rape and sexual misconduct that this prosecutor carried out against one of his staff members, a woman, a Malaysian woman, by the way, who was fiercely anti-Israel.
9:09
But she had suffered this, uh, this harassment and these rapes for over a year.

9 MINS LATER

17:45
Sure.
21:46
What do you say to that argument?
21:47
I, I think the forever war is the opposite.
21:50
I think if we leave them there and they're committed to our destruction, then you'll have a forever war.
21:55
But what is happening on the ground is actually the opposite.
21:58
What is happening on the ground is we now have Gazans who are fighting Hamas because they see now, in the closing phase of this war, after we had to go through these seven fronts against all the proxies and Iran itself, and now we're circling back to finish off Hamas, uh, and, uh, demolish its last stronghold in Gaza.
22:16
They see hope.
22:18
They say, "Don't let up." Gazans, they kill Hamas, they fight Hamas, they die fighting them, and they're saying, "This is our final hope to free ourself from this tyranny." You know? This tyranny that has caused them endless suffering, uh, and it has not invested a penny, uh, of the billions that they received, uh, to- for their, uh, for the people of Gaza.

8 MINS LATER

30:37
And that is, it's exacerbating Israel's PR problem.
58:14
And then you have, uh, these so-called European leaders saying, "Yeah, and this proves we need a two-state solution." How do you fight this sort of worldwide propaganda that's taking place?
58:25
Well, I, I think the best way to fight it is first to win the war and win it as speedily as possible because that, uh, that, that eliminates the, the attention to these lies.
58:35
But I think beyond that, you have to tell the facts.
58:37
The li- a lie can circle the, the tru- the globe ten times before the truth has a chance to, uh, raise its head, but that's what I'm trying to do now.
58:45
Uh, look, um, uh, in fact, from day one, we had the opposite of a starvation policy.
58:53
We had the policy of giving the civilian population all the food and medical aid, and we brought in...
58:59
Now hear this.

You're saying there's no getting back to the table until, uh, the- the, uh, the- the goals of the bombing campaign are achieved.
4:43
Well, if the goals could be achieved through negotiations, fine.
4:45
I'd said that to the President when I saw him, uh, in Washington.
4:49
Uh, that didn't happen in the, uh, two months of negotiations that President Trump gave them.
4:53
Right now, they thought that they could get away with it.
4:56
They found that our very decisive and very precise military action against their nuclear program, against their ballistic missile program, uh, is effective.
5:06
So now they want to stop it and continue on the side to continue to develop those two means of mass death that are meant to wipe Israel off the map.
