So without any further ado, Belinda, I believe you're going to start us off.
1:06
Thank you, everybody.
1:08
It's our great pleasure to present for you the Australasian resuscitation and sepsis evaluation, fluids or vasopressors in emergency department sepsis, the ARISE fluids trial.
1:23
This is an investigator-initiated study, and we have no conflicts of interest to declare.
1:29
The ARISE Fluids trial is a phase three prospective, open-label, of course, multi-centre randomised control trial.
1:38
The population of interest were 1,000 adults, patients presenting to the ED with early septic shock.
1:47
The intervention arm, known as the vasopressor group, is restricted IV fluids and early vasopressors for up to 24 hours.
