Uh, okay, so general, what's your favorite aspect of Mercy's world and/or your character? Aurora?

I, I think for me I like how much the understanding of the rules of the world changes every episode, because I feel like for me it's like it stays consistent, but we learn, oh, Paxton's got sort of a cleric thing almost going on, and oh, there's magic.

And it starts at just this like one thing with the Latisha Medusas, and then it grows and grows and grows and grows, and I think that's really cool.

I have a dear friend from high school, and her husband, who we also went to high school with, um, was misdiagnosed.

The, he, there was lung cancer, like you could see it on his screening for a kidney stone, but it was missed.

And so, and there's very, uh, oftentimes there's very little symptoms or no symptoms with lung cancer until it metastasized into your bones or something other horrible happens.

And it wasn't caught until his collarbone, like, broke and collapsed, and he just died.

Anyway, so I didn't even know that, like, lung cancer screening was a thing.

Und dann das erste Mal im Leben so etwas auf dich zukommt, so eine Nachricht, wo jemand sich an deinem Körper bedient hat, ohne dass du davon wusstest, ohne dass du deine, äh, Zustimmung dafür gegeben hast.

Und dann aber parallel auch so eine Wut, dass ich es nicht wert bin, dass man mich anruft und dass man mich davon in Kenntnis setzt.

Aber wenn sie sich dann doch wieder mit Bethel und allem danach beschäftigt, macht sich vor allem Fassungslosigkeit in ihr breit.
