So, yes, going back a while now, but initially there was a small group of us who had connected.

We'd see each other at industry events.

And so we had a WhatsApp group, which is quite small, maybe about six or seven black mortgage professionals that connected on WhatsApp.

And we knew there were more of us.

And every now and again, we'd see people out when we were at events.

But we felt that there wasn't really a safe space for us really to connect properly.
