And if we go to

that first event and us coming together, as we said, it was meant to be a one-off event.

So we just thought, right, Black History Month, how can we join in and how can we bring everybody together and showcase and celebrate what there was.

And at the time the theme for that Black History Month was reclaiming the narrative.

So it was perfect to start with that theme to share stories, experiences, but really What we wanted to do was bring people together so that they could start to connect, start to know who's in different positions.

people step forward is great because you know we know that they're committed to the development of BEMPAN as well but also it just means that there's more capacity for us to grow that we can do many of the ideas that we have that we speak about obviously because we've got full-time jobs it can be difficult to find the time to do that but I think with this additional support and passion these people are stepping forward themselves you know I think that's going to make a real difference for us so yeah I'm excited about developing that and enabling us to do much more one of the things that's going to be happening I think I
