And what's incredible, because I do have the opportunity as a teacher to work with grades K through college, I have had multiple conversations with my kids, whether it's the young ones.

outside in my garden spaces or the older ones as we have just finished talking about economics, on multiple occasions, I'm able to bring in those aspects and I'm able to connect what I'm talking about in terms of the natural world and its components to the economics, to the politics, to the technology.

And now because I think of some of my exposure, I'm attracting students that would never have potentially taken my course in environmental because I'm promoting the fact now more than ever that it's so interdisciplinary.
