So do you want to tell us a bit about why you thought about Better Ways of Knowing, where it came from and what you're hoping this will achieve?
12:54
Yeah, we started when I came to the foundation 12 years ago, having a convening every year called Knowledge Sharing.
13:02
And we brought together academics, but community voices, policymakers.
13:08

13:11

What stood out to you from these two days of discussion and exchange of ideas?
3:04
Well, this is an amazing session.

And to see both the continuation of the excitement, but also in the context of a very changed world and country now, having a mix of interdisciplinary folks.
3:27
For someone like me, who'd been an academic, who'd been a public health practitioner, now in philanthropy and kind of an intellectual generalist, it's brought a lot of really interesting things together.
3:38
So it's like really super to have philosophers in the room and I mean, I used to be a practicing epidemiologist.
3:45
Now I'm more of an administrator.
