[laughs] Can you talk about Annabeth and her relationship with Luke? 'Cause I see it's in the notes, and I'm very curious what you have to say.

Yeah.

Well, Luke for her is that early caregiver attachment, right? You see that moment with, over the cereal box i- in that tunnel as they're hiding from the Cyclopes as they're running away as children.

And I think for Annabeth, Luke does represent the ideal of, like, this is what I aspire to be.

This is, like, the person that I should become, and this is someone that everyone respects, right? Like, going back to her, the importance of other people's perceptions of her, I think Luke embodies that.

But I- the more interesting part of what has happened is there's been entire, like, ex- that has been just blasted to hell, right? He's no longer that figure for her and no longer that person that she can look to to understand herself, 'cause I think she really grew to understand herself through the lens of that relationship and who she is in relation to Luke, right? Their identities are intertwined.

Um, so she's really quite untethered, I think we see her in, in season two, right? Without this, like, attachment that for so much of her life has been, like, safety.
