What do you do?
5:11
Leo's kind of just stunned, floating in the sky, staring up at the spot where Cosias and Enki were, and kind of just, like, mutters to himself, "They don't kill them.
5:27
They, they don't kill them." He kind of just looks down.
5:30
He's not, he's...
5:31
Like, in his just base blue form, just, like, looking down and, like, is confused of what to feel.
9:00
I would say you see as grass begins to grow, takes about six seconds for you to do so, and once you're done, another six seconds passes as you see the gray begin to... [sucking sound]
9:22
Oh.
9:23
Oh, and he looks back up at the sky.
Jake TaylorPANELIST
8:32
I got you.
8:34
Okay.
8:36
Adam.
8:38
Okay, I have like one and a half.
8:42
The reason I say half is because it's not actually a moment that happened.
8:45
The first one, I mean, obviously was the cool conversation I got to have with Elixador.
8:50
Because we originally both probably in our heads were like, this is going to be the most heated debate that's ever going to happen on this podcast ever.

15 MINS LATER

24:00
But with that in mind and hearing this opinion, I'm curious to see what you guys think of that now.
5:31
What do you got?
5:32
This inspiration is kind of more of a fear for Leo.
5:36
As like we kind of are getting like closer to the elves, Leo kind of remembers when they like first were attacking at Conamanther.
5:45
Leo's thinking back on the moment whenever like he like sang the song to the elves and it like did manage to like go through some of them at least like some of them had some form of reaction but he also remembers that like when Elxidor was attacking the elves and trying to use magic, it seemed the magic did not work at all.
6:14
And even if Leo chose to fight, he's worried, since he is fully made of magic, if he can even actually do anything to the elves, which is another reason why he's hoping that they will talk, both for his own heart and also for his own life.

52:59
You're on deck.
53:01
So I'm first going to use sorcery points to do...
53:07
Partnered spell, so I'm going to use four sorcery points to do that.
60:43
And then we slowly start making breakfast together.
60:50
it was kind of like watching you do like the process and it's kind of like you're ready to either like sue chef for things to like get different supplies and like the fire with his hand or something or do different things um as he kind of has like a like all of like anxiety that enters into the center of his body it kind of starts to like grow And then there's another ball that shows up of confidence.
61:20
They kind of sit there for a second as the anxiety kind of walks in its own way, floats into the ball of confidence and they kind of merge for a moment.
61:36
And you see a little tiny spot of of pink in it as well because he kind of like takes like a moment and then just like all like watching you cook is just says uh elk store i i i want i wanted to say i'm sorry And you see the confidence grows a little more in his chest with the little flecks of pink kind of going through it.
62:19
The purple has these little aurora waves of pink bouncing inside of it.
62:27
Almost like that of a dance.
62:34
As Leo says, I...

leaf in my hand if I were to put my feet on the ground I don't I don't I don't feel it I feel like I feel someone else's memory of what it possibly is I don't touch it yes I I can't eat I don't need to eat I don't need to sleep
18:53
I'm like, what the fuck? I've been in fear since
18:58
then.
18:59
I'm going to be honest.
19:00
I also honestly don't know.
19:02
what I'm going to say to Alex works.
19:04
It's been, you know, a good chunk amount of time since then.
19:07
And I've had time to sift and live in that conversation.

10 MINS LATER

29:01
when it happened? I
11:55
yeah gail is going to run over and join that hug
11:59
leo's leo's uh anger completely goes away goes back to normal leo and he rushes towards uh sig with so many different emotions of joy and sadness and that are just mixing together like an oil painting as he runs lies over

26 MINS LATER

37:52
Thank you.
37:53
Yeah.
37:54
We need to get out of here.
37:57
I don't know.
37:58
Someone's in trouble.
37:58
Let's try to help them.
5:12
Thanks, but what do we think about, as we're on that segue, what did everyone think about Daggerheart as a system?
5:19
I, Oh, I love it.
5:21
I love, you know, a lot of these people know how much I love dagger heart is unpopular opinion, but I personally like it more than D and D just because of how my head works.
5:31
I want to do neat things without having with D and D sometimes feels like you have to kind of go through some hoops and ladders to get to a certain point to do the thing you want to do or go through a million numbers to find the thing that you want to do.
5:43
I like that this is simple.
5:45
It's kind of like, here's what you can do to do the general idea of what this is and you come up with whatever it is.
5:49
Yeah.

11 MINS LATER

16:54
Yeah.
43:56
Arthur, I need you to make an agility roll, please.
43:58
All righty-o.
44:00
Um, I'm gonna save that.
44:03
Agility, agility, agility, please, please, please.
44:07
Okay.
44:08
That's all right.
44:10
That's a, that's a 13 with hope.

yourself.
7:09
And this is in the bar, right? You see Arthur is at the bar stand on a stool with a drink in his hand, kind of like staring down into the drink and looking around, just like checking his surroundings.
7:25
You see this blue Infernus man who has gold eyes, Whereas horns both curl and swish up, but one of them looks a little different than the other.
7:41
One looks like it is partially made out of metal, and it kind of sparks at the top.
7:48
And closer down, below, under the bar, kind of hidden away, you see a metal, almost snake-like dragon machine that's wrapped around his stool, trying to blend in to the environment below him as he's just staring into his cup and looking around, making sure that no one's targeting him in any way.

53 MINS LATER

60:53
Run!
60:57
I think I want to try to, because I have far range, I could shoot this guy.
28:19
Yeah.
28:20
The prevailing theory now is much more related to our gut microbiome, although not just our gut microbiome, but the colonies of bacteria that populate our gut, but they also populate our skin and our airways as well.
28:35
And we know that the constituents of those, um, colonies of bacteria have a very significant impact on the way our immune system develops and the way that we develop a relationship with the outside world.
28:48
And if you look back over the time course of when we've seen this large change and growth of allergic disease, it very much coincides with, for want of a better word, Westernization.
28:58
So if you look around the world which countries have the highest rates of allergy, it's very striking that it's places like Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Canada, geographically very disparate, but culturally very similar.
29:10
And within those environments, there's been a number of factors that have significantly influenced how our gut bacteria develop.
29:17
So, for example, many, many years ago when, when, when, you know, uh, we were born, most people were born at home and some people were born in hospital, whereas these days, pretty much everybody, with a rare exception, is born in a hospital environment.
31:07
... given that it is a systems reform strategy, if you agree it is, how much help are you getting to drive this change?
38:37
[laughs]
38:37
Oh, man.
38:39
All right.
38:39
But we'll, we'll jump to professional in here because then I'm a Cardinals fan.
38:43
I grew up one, still am one, love the team, love the franchise.
38:47
So your tenure with the Arizona Cardinals was a very interesting transition for the organization 'cause you had the last couple of years of Ken Whisenhunt, we had the Kevin Kolb experiment with John Skelton-
38:59
He does.
39:00
You know, ran for a, a political office a couple years back.
26:23
What's changed?
26:25
So the prevailing theory for many years was the hygiene hypothesis, or also known as the clean child theory, which is one of these theories that's absolutely entered the public consciousness and, and, and is very hard to shake.
26:38
But actually, it's got huge holes in it.
26:40
So the idea is that there was a birth order effect that was noticed in the 1980s by a, an epidemiologist called Strachan, and he observed that the older child in the family seemed more likely to have allergies than younger children.
26:55
And the explanation for this was, well, in, you know, given modern living and the difference between how we live now from, you know, 100 or 200 years earlier and the lack of threats from different microbes that there is these days, that that first child had relatively little pressure on their immune system to develop quickly, and consequently, the immature immune system would develop inappropriate responses.
27:20
It basically needed to find some sort of trouble, and because it couldn't find cholera or typhoid or anything really nasty to direct itself at, you've got these inappropriate allergic responses.
27:29
Whereas the younger children in the family were brought into an environment where they had older siblings bringing all the bugs and germs that they got back from nursery, so much earlier in their life, their immune system was forced to mature because it was exposed to more, and that more rapidly maturing immune system was less likely to then go on and develop allergies.
