Andrew and Dave talk about today's coastal concerns and the expected tropical development in the Gulf.
It is October 6th, and we're looking at a little bit more of some winds in here for today, thanks to that low pressure.
Low pressure off the coast, that's going to enhance that northeasterly flow because it goes kind of clockwise.
And with that, of course, all of these things you see behind us, that rip current risk is high, not recommending you get in the water.
And then Wednesday evening high tide at 6 p.m. at Fort Pulaski as well, expected to be 9.5. That is the threshold for when coastal flooding potentially starts.
We're talking about wind speeds at the 35 knots producing seas about four to eight feet in here for today.
It's kind of sitting off somewhere along the northeast coast of Florida at the moment.
