And Barry did some boating this week, as we alluded to last week.
He went out for Florida Spiny Lobster mini season Wednesday and Thursday down in South Florida this week.
Yeah.
Uh, extremely busy, uh, two, you know, 48 hours, uh, recreational divers are allowed to get in the water and go after the Florida spiny lobster for the beginning of the season.
A little pre preview of a regular season, which opens what a week from today or something.
I think
August,
I think it's August 6th.
Yeah.
Something like that.
Somewhere around
there.
Yeah.
But, uh, that mini season is awesome for divers and we're going to talk about it extensively on our scuba radio show today.
Okay.
However, boating-wise, it's real important to be aware of what's going on, as we said last week, because there's all these divers in the water, dive flags everywhere, boats, obviously, because they're diving from boats for the most part.
I mean, some of them are coming out from the beaches of South Florida and that kind of thing and snorkeling out to sites and stuff.
But you got to be very aware if you're a boater.
As we said on Wednesday and Thursday this past week, because you could be, you know, surprised.
Like, whoa, whoa, where did that snorkeler diver come from? And you've got to be very careful.
And the good thing, people listened.
And I think we can take credit, Barry, because there were no deaths reported.
this year and usually we average a couple every year in florida for a mini season and uh so far from what i've been able to glean from the reports is we we had an uneventful lobster mini season so that's awesome news
well they were talking about that in the news they had all the uh All the news people out at the local boat
