Do you ever feel like you technically stopped working… but your mind never did? You made dinner. You shuffled the kids through all their evening to-dos. You’re finally home, except mentally, you’re…
Okay, let's dive into today's episode.
One of the biggest things I keep hearing from women is the struggle with finding peace and finding margin and staying consistent in their time with God.
And I think for a lot of us, you know, we assume consistency has to look big to matter.
And we think it has to be this long, polished, perfect routine.
you know, a full reset or like a quiet time with no interruptions, which is often untrue, you know, in order for it to count.
And let me tell you, girl, like I thought the exact same thing for forever, but I realized a huge part of the answer is consistency in micro ways.
not microwaves, because it may have sounded that way, but microwaves, micro shifts, if you will, that they really can create significant results in your life.
And so, you know, the buildup of small intentional moments and small choices, small acts of surrender, those things matter more than we realize.
Because, you know, as we talked about last week in the why you feel so mentally exhausted episode, you don't just get overwhelmed and burnout overnight.
It's small, subtle things that creep up and suddenly you feel like you are completely drowning.
And so today I want to talk about one of these micro shifts that I think can make a major difference for working moms, especially if you feel like you technically stop working, but your mind never does.
