What is it that you feel you can do in the world of indie that you can't do other places?
Listen, I think we need to get back to filmmaking that is from a perspective, from a director's perspective, from a writer's perspective.
And I think that that perspective should be specific and should be not made for the masses, should have a clear voice.
You know, films that I did that were panned, you know, like Hugo Poole, that Robert Downey Sr. directed, whether you loved that movie or hated that movie, it had a perspective.
It was like a painter who had a style and a vision and did not make it for a museum.
