TCL Chinese Theatre

So Green Lantern was released in 2011, specifically at the Chinese Theatre June 15th, 2011, and wide release June 17th, 2011.

It is directed by Martin Campbell of 007 fame, and with a screenplay by Greg Berlanti and a few others, Marc Guggenheim, Michael Green, Michael Goldenberg.

And then of course it does star Ryan Reynolds in the lead role, Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, Angela Bassett, and Tim Robbins.

She never shied away from trying out the next and the newest, but always maintained sight of her strengths, sentimental stories that showed the underdog triumphing.

She was among the first group to get her hands and footprints in the cement outside of John Grauman's Chinese Theater.

And this was the last silent film that she would ever make.

She made a few sound movies, the first of which she won an Oscar for Best Actress in Coquette, but she didn't really take to the talkies in the way that she did in Silence, and she retired from acting in 1933.

It was very surreal, sort of going into some of those buildings.

And we went and watched a movie in the Chinese theatre.

So this is an older picture.

I don't think it has as many stars as it does have nowadays.

And, of course, Grauman's was always a big deal.

And it was like going, you know, it was... as if you were going to be going to see an opera or a musical, theatrical event, as if the actors were alive.

That we would go to see, put ourselves in front of these huge screens and just get lost in it and then talk about the movie.
