I was meeting Presidents at work, then I left to do cleaning jobs in Lagos — Femi Dapson

So you guys did elaborate ceremonies, yeah? The introduction, and it had the best, the best, uh, hashtag, #MeetTheDapsons.

[laughs]

So introduction, the wedding, all of that is good.

Shout out to my wife for that one.

Yeah.

Well, she-- I, I figured she would be the one.

[laughs]

I figured she'd be the one.

Yeah.

But sometimes people can do all that and people are not interested.

People just look at the wedding and say, [scoffs] but in this one, people were so interested in the story.

They were so interested in the plot.

Why do you think so? Do you think it's because individually people are interested in your stories? You have a dramatic story, which we're gonna talk about.

Your wife has a colorful story, that people like her.

Do you think that's what led to the massive interest in this love act?

Mm, I would say that's one of.

I really can't just pinpoint and say this is what actually happened at this time.

Tell me the things that you think.

Yeah, so, but, like, pretty much, I think we both have our individual stories, just, you know-

Mm

... like you said, interesting stories.

Mm-hmm.

And I think people are just being-- I have people that, you know, really, really, um, they have so much interest in my story.

Mm.

They've been looking up to me based on, you know, my background and stuff.
