So you started, just for the listener who doesn't know you, you started doing birth work years ago.
Is that right? 20 years? Yes.
More than 30 years ago, I attended my first birth as a birth supporter.
They didn't even have the word doula or birth keeper in those days.
And I've definitely somehow, I guess we kind of all attract people.
the kind of people to us that, you know, that we have the right skills for them in some ways.
And I had two pretty radical births myself, one when I was 17 and one at 24.
I'm now 53.
And both of them were essentially free births or with an independent midwife who just totally let me get on with it, which in that time was so radical.
and now that i've you know now in this time you know both of us evany and i've both just suddenly had this like influx of people who are making very radical choices and empowered choices to have the birth that they they want um and so we're just kind of It's just amazing to share that and to share that change that's happening.
