This NEW Update Changes EVERYTHING For The Wild...

But folks, I don't know where to start off with this one because the latest update that we have from Quinn Hughes is quite a scary one if we're looking at the performance of this team and really how it's all going to play out.

Agent J.P. Berry told Donnie and Dolly that Quinn Hughes has not been pushed into an extension and is content to make the season as it comes.

Minnesota can still lock him up before he hits the UFA in 2027, but Berry's read is that Hughes wants to feel for the group and how he fits before committing long-term.

This now puts a very big kind of what if into the question, into the possibility of a Quinn Hughes extension, which,

I say possibility because you never really know, but I'm still leaning more towards and heavily towards he will sign.

But the quote that J.P. Berry had this right here is a very big one.

I think he wants to see how the team does and how he feels.

And this may dictate where the Wild go to start the season and, you know, How they really perform and change the way they play for game one.

If this Wild team comes out here and starts off hot, you know, obviously a great sign.

We know the Wild are capable of that.

They've been doing it the past couple of years.

That's the big key.

a lot of questions now though what if the wild starts well you know start to struggle to begin the season if they start out slow is that going to dictate what quinn hughes thinks and right away i'm going to say no i don't think that's the way that this is going to happen obviously The way that this is all worded, how all of this plays out, yes, it may seem like that, but this is a much different scenario that it seems like Quinn Hughes just wants to see if the team feels like last season.

Because from everything that we've seen him talk about, the way that this team has spoken about Quinn Hughes and the way that he's spoken about the team They like the way they play each other.

You know, the big reason that Quinn Hughes said he came here was because of Bill Guerin.

Because of, and you know, the reason he's played so well, because of Brock Faber.

You know, obviously things like that are all going to have a major factor.

And that to me seems like the biggest part of this idea from J.P. Berry.

But also I think that, you know, once again, this is a major decision for Quinn Hughes.

Is he going to sign long-term? Well, tomorrow is the deadline for eight years, so that doesn't seem like it, nor has it for the past couple of weeks and months.

But with the schedule that we're looking at right now and how this Wild team has to really adjust to all of this coming up, you have a pretty interesting schedule to start the season because...
