Roberto HuberGuestCarolyn PitchiderGuestSo before we go, as ever, we put a few questions out to our, uh, our Instagram audience, and as always, they came back with a shedload of questions, of which we don't have time to answer them all.
But one of the things that we did get asked, and I know that Love Velo get asked a lot, is, "What do I need to bring me, with me? What kind of gear, what clothing? What am I expecting in terms of weather in the mountains?"

You know, a couple of weeks out before the event we've got people emailing in, calling in, "What do I actually need to bring?"

The thing is, y- you are going on a cycling trip, so you've gotta be reasonable and sensible.

You know, the more you can ride with, the better I would say, just because you've got no idea what's gonna happen once you get out on that course.

You might get brilliant sunshine, 25, 30 degrees, in which case you're gonna need your sun cream on.

So Maratona insist now that you have to ride with a rain jacket, so that's an absolute essential.

On your way to the start, you're gonna be waiting around for a little while, couple of minutes at the start line.
