Uh, I'm gonna tell you about a little situation that I had this morning, and what, uh, another little situation that I had last night, actually.

So last evening, I was, I posted something about an upcoming project meeting that I was prepping for, and, uh, it was just a photo of me and my laptop sitting outside, 'cause it was a beautiful evening.

And I posted it, and then I just instantly got this like feeling of regret, and, uh, almost imposter syndrome, like what business do I have to be posting this? And it wasn't what, it wasn't about what I was posting, it was what I posted, and it was, like I said, a picture of me and my laptop outside.

And I just, for some reason, I got so insecure about how often I'm posting pictures of myself and videos of myself.

There's so many places that we c- have so many options that we have to put our faces on, right? And here's the thing.

I, even though I'm super confident in front of a microphone, I don't get nervous, I'm confident in front of a camera, I, I, like this is my job.

And there are still times where I get really insecure and I [laughs] always tell people, "Yeah, I'm good on the radio because I have a face for radio." Like, that's just, I'm, I, I'm not full of myself.

I don't believe any of that, and I don't know if that's the right or the wrong thing, but that's just what I believe.

Um, you know, I'm just your average chick trying to make a business work out here, and unfortunately or fortunately for you, that requires seeing my face a lot.

And I'm always preaching to business owners about how you should be showing your faces and talking directly to your target customers and, and things like that.

But every once in a while, I just, I get into a mindset where I'm like, "Oh man, is this too much?" Like, should I post other things? Should I not post at all? All the things.

So, uh, that's [laughs] relatability right there, so if you're feeling that way, I 100,000 million percent understand what you're going through and where you're coming from.

Um, and I woke up this morning and, 'cause I was still thinking about it last night when I went to bed, and I, I woke up this morning and I thought, "You know what? No." I'm trying to, I'm always just trying to build something.

And, you know, sometimes it's hard to know where to fit in or how to fit in and all those things, but what I do know is that people need to see me.
