Cultural Support Teams - Women In The Shadows of Combat

What I want everybody to remember is that there were a lot of women who were in roles that weren't considered combat, but between Afghanistan and Iraq, over 9,000 women veterans were awarded combat action badges.

Remember when you are on social media and you're talking about our women veterans out there, who we know as a population is underserved, please use that hashtag, hashtag she's the veteran, okay? Because they need recognition and we need to find a way to steer more of them towards the VA to get help, to get the benefits that they deserve.

And so remember that, hashtag she's the veteran, Heidi, thank you so much for coming on and giving us all this great information about the work that you guys are doing.
