And we were only the first, I think we were the sixth state in the nation to have licensure.

And it was actually promoted and pushed by the realtor organizations that states should have licensing because it's a different animal.

So licensing exists because it is the bare minimum threshold for someone not to totally ruin your life.

Licensure exists is the state's role to say this person is minimally competent.

You also, when you first get your license, are required to be working under a broker for a set amount of time.

Some people, they get their three years of active service in, and they go out and they get a broker's license, but they still may choose to operate under a broker, and that's okay.

But that minimal competency, all that means, it's the equivalent, I say, of a 16-year-old with their license in hand.

But it's just the state saying they can drive through a certain number of cones and only hit a few.

They can kind of parallel part, and they can stop their car at about 25 feet.

So if you can do that and you can answer a few questions, you're allowed to have a car because you've got to start somewhere.

Now I just hope customers, consumers aren't listening because they're like, this is all that they have to do.
