Ed MastersHostCharlie MurrayHostFor the last couple of weeks, well, yeah, last week, I guess, me and Nick, we circumnavigated Stewart Island in kayaks, which I think I talked about on here originally, but we actually managed to pull it off, which we were pretty stoked about.
We actually got a handshake from the local cray fisherman at the dock when we landed back in Noban after completing the circuit.
He just looked us dead in the eye and just said, congratulations, boys, that's a good effort.
I mean, for anyone who's not familiar with sea kayaking, basically you're in these big plastic kayaks, boats.
It's not like when you're paddling around the kayak and just keep spinning in circles so you can actually go where you want to go and you have like a really lightweight carbon paddle which sort of has these scoops on the end it's called a wing paddle and it has like a special shaped blade so it catches more water so it's supposed to be really efficient and our max speed that we got to on the trip was 9k an hour and that was with like a ripping tide that was pushing us and wind behind us Um, but usually you average like six or seven, especially with the boats loaded.
We had like a cast iron frying pan, um, strapped to the back deck, fishing gear, all our camping gear, winter clothes.
Cause you don't want to be like up against the side of the tent and it's just getting real damp and

What was the weather like? Was it pretty good the whole time? Because it's not the greatest wind I know, man, is it?
And like most people do, well, if you have a good trip, you can do it in like five.
