And, um, maybe you can speak to just some of the guys that have played right here in Manitoba in the last couple years that we've seen out on PGA Tour or even winning events in the last couple weeks.
40:33
Yeah, it's, uh, the level of play is, uh, is incredible.
40:37
Uh, I, you know, I played back in the '90s and, you know, there was a bunch of, uh, Canadians in a traveling caravan moving across the country in truck campers and, and, uh, and so on.
40:51
These guys are very polished.
40:52
They're all very, uh, they all look like they were kind of built in a lab.
40:57
Um, you know, they're just, uh, young, strong, uh, athletic guys that all hit the ball a mile.
41:03
And, uh, so yeah, the level of play is incredible.

Just, uh, you know, a few words about the, the volunteers here in Manitoba that help you put this on, the support of the membership of Elmhurst, and, uh, the amount of people that work into put on a great show and open the doors to the club to golf fans from around the province and beyond.
39:21
How did Kenny work with you guys when you were sort of vying for pretty much one spot up top? Like, how did he keep you kind of thinking you were special, I guess?
39:32
that's actually a tough one to answer I think not just you know myself and whether it be myself and Pat Pat usually played when it was myself and Ciarán there was probably more swapping and changing and I think it was you know certainly when I would have felt like when I played with Pat that I'd always scored when I came off the bench but I never got the chance to start which was disappointing but just the way Stephen would manage it like we were very successful and I certainly wasn't going to leave at that point knowing okay I mightn't play every week but things were good here and you know things look bright so I was happy to stay but when Ciarán was there it was definitely more you know if you're in form you're going to play and it was a bit more swapping and changing and maybe you know in some instances Ciarán might have suited the game more than I did and vice versa so I think Stephen just managed it in that manner but I think it's just being able to deal with players off the pitch and like one example is probably Shane Grimes who didn't play he was always second today Massey but again he would always be happy around the place because Stephen made him feel valuable and when he did play he still produced good performances even if it was you know not playing as much as he would have liked so I think as well you have a settled group you have good camaraderie between players it makes everyone happier.
40:44
And of course, when results are good, that makes life easier as well.
40:47
So, there's probably a huge combination of things that go into it.
40:52
But certainly, I think certain people, I've spoken about Ciarán as a manager, you know, lots of people say, oh, I wouldn't have seen Ciarán Calduff being a manager.
40:58
But if you know him personally and you know what he's like as a person, you know how well he gets on with people, how he can make people laugh you know have a bit of crack but on the other side of it what probably people haven't maybe seen is that he can manage and he can he can coach as well which obviously I wouldn't have known with playing with him but it's that kind of I think his personality and his character to deal with people that will make him an excellent manager
42:31
And I kind of wonder, is that Stephen's natural style? Stephen Kenny's natural style to have a squad and make so many changes game to game? I feel like he always was happiest with a tighter group.
42:44
Yeah, I think the game's partly changed, I'd say, because the rules keep changing in terms of three subs to five subs, to how many have been on your bench.
21:32
Not that I'm good at it at all, but you know what I mean?
21:36
Well, with the movie, like with the movie, he had like, he wanted each segment to be, like you wanted to represent that, that crew.
21:44
So each segment's got a completely different vibe to each other.
21:46
So like, it's not like just one generic, like same, like, delta song with like slow-mo and whatever like each segment's got its own like sort of um aesthetic and style and like vibe to it and he wanted to film them all in like different creative ways like so like we he has like these are like his ideas in his head and we'll go and like like when we did the france segment he all he wanted to do was film in slow-mo so he wanted the whole segment to be one big long slow-mo for like three minutes or whatever it is and then he like we he had this idea to rig up like he basically got this this like block of wood and then put like some pulley wheels on it and then we got some rope and like some like climbing rope and then like a harness and he won one and then we hung the like the rope up in a tree and one of them was stationary and the other one would move on a pulley and then you'd be on a belay and you'd like and then the camera was on a Ronin like a gimbal so yeah so hunters control on the gimbal and then we got this other French dude on a belay trying to like sign language to him belaying him and then belaying the camera And then when we're riding down, they're just dropping the camera down into the, like, as we come down.
22:59
And then Hunter's controlling the camera to, like, film, like.
23:03
No way.
23:03
Get all of us in the frame at the same time.
24:57
It's like at no point in the two premieres I've been to, you never really felt like people were starting to get restless.
