Well, I'm grateful, Glenn, thank you for setting us up a little bit about where the Israelites are on their journey, because he set us up for exactly where we find them, wandering the desert early in their journey, but already experiencing the challenges that come with a journey.
He managed to set them free.
He's defeated the Egyptian army.
And so they've begun that journey to the promised land with excitement and anticipation.
Yeah.
They want to be there tomorrow.
We want to be at that thing immediately, as immediately as possible, but they're not there yet.
They're in the wilderness.
And so as they enter the wilderness from being liberated, After they passed through the Red Sea, they first went into the desert of Shur.
And they traveled in that desert for three days and couldn't find any water there.
Three days without being able to find water.
And you get a little glimpse of what that looks like.
And so then, after that, they make it to Marah, which has water, but they found it to be too bitter to drink, and so they complained about that.
Here we finally have water, but now we can't even drink it.
For I am the Lord who heals you.
You don't need to worry because I've got you.
I've already shown you that I've got you.
So just continue to follow me.
