Ballots go in the mail today.

So the county clerks are sticking stuff in the mail.

And...

If you listen to the news, the story from the Secretary of State, so all the county clerks from all 36 counties here in Oregon did some testing to see how long it actually took something to be delivered by the post office, how long it took it to be postmarked and how long it took it to get where it was supposed to go.

Some of them were as low as four days to get to their destination.

Others, 11 days on average.

And, you know, I mean, you can say whatever you want to by vote by mail.

But when it takes 11 days to get there now, you know, they're saying, well, you know, the deadline to get your ballot in the mail is going to be October 27th.

And you keep hearing about how well vote by mail works.

It's just like, I mean, everything seems

to

be inefficient about it.

But that said, you need to get your ballot in the mail.

Well, let's let's do it right away.

People should start getting them around October 16th and they should just fill it out and put it in

about 11 days.

Yeah, that we won't get them either.

Oh, good point.

Yeah.

Well,

people should

cast their vote right away and put it in the ballot box, not the U.S.

Postal Service.

It's free postage, but still just get it in your local ballot box.

I'm all about efficiency and cutting out all the steps, unnecessary steps.
