[laughs] When last we left our heroes-
[yawns]
Thumper In the center of a chamber beneath the rocks above Vraalda's claim, you all discovered strange, diseased stones in an even stranger locale.
After inspecting the chambers, you gathered together and discussed the strange architecture around you, the magics at play, and Veil began to elucidate on the nature of the forces you had all began to ascertain may be at play here.
In the midst of that, it was decided that you'd best have this conversation away from the diseased rocks all around you.
[laughs]
[laughs]
As you began to make your way out of the chamber and were interrupted.
Two phase spiders, both warped to varying degrees by whatever influence seems to seep from this place and these strange stones, they set upon you, and you did battle with the diseased arachnids.
A few close calls were had as strange forces applied pressure to the mind of one of your party, but he was saved thanks to a memory, though one he may be unfamiliar with.
You exited the chamber, confirmed the stones seemed to put off some fell force independent of their presence here within this specific chamber, and had a somewhat tense exchange as another member of your party attempted to bring one of said stones with them for their own purposes.
[laughs]
But you resolved the disagreement, had some more chats, and eventually began to make your way towards the surface.
So I will say at this point, barring anything anybody wants to do in the mine specifically, you guys exit once again into the day.
And there's a light rain falling, as is customary here in the Freywood, especially this high in the mountains.
Um, it is not a torrential downpour, just the kind of ever-present slight misting that just is life in the Freywood.
Um, at this point, I believe you guys, it was first thing you guys basically went down into the mine, if I recall correctly.
Yeah.
So-
It was r- as they were putting the caravan back together-
Yeah
...
so we come out.
I don't know if they're done with the caravan.
Yeah.
