**After the devastating technical loss of the first iteration of this podcast ep (that we recorded IN PERSON IN NJ!) we regrouped and rerecorded! The product is the banger of a v2.0 of our Teresa and…
i do i would be honored um so first and foremost making it more devastating is we were in new jersey while we were talking about this the first time we were no longer in new jersey but this is a new jersey couple i would argue this is the new jersey couple this is who started it all who you know did not make it nice in any point in time of their lives to cross quote dorinda um so this is the alzheimer's this is juicy joe and trey this is a couple that we have seen through Many things, jail, you know, cheating on your wife while you're at a vineyard or talking to your mistress, something like that.
Coming back from prison.
I mean, just a lot of dark stuff for beautiful daughters, daughters, if you will.
So, yeah, today we are talking Teresa and Joe Giudice to DTA.
I don't I don't know.
Yeah, I love that little moment in time where they were like, we're going to pronounce it a completely different way.
But yeah, the two dices.
So to Carrie's point, we were in Jersey.
I am currently in Jersey.
And also there's some peripheral connections here.
So I do want to be conscious.
My sister-in-law is very close with me.
Joe's sister-in-law.
So there is some cross-mogination here.
And it's just one, I think, reason why maybe Carrie and I will eventually find ourselves on Bravo, but did want to put that out there first.
But to give those of you who don't know, and I don't know Who would be in that bucket? Because if you're listening to a Bravo-related podcast, you obviously know Teresa and Joe.
But they were married in 1999, way before they were on the show.
So they really had a long-term marriage.
They actually were married for almost, I think it's 20 years, almost 30.
They separated and finalized their divorce actually just during the COVID pandemic in September of 2020.
Wow.
And pre any of their cookbooks or business entities or anything.
Remember, this was the days of Teresa paying cash for kids' clothes at local New Jersey boutiques.
