And let's kick it off with the news that Sam Wood is taking his fight for bail to Queensland Supreme Court more than two weeks after he was arrested over alleged domestic violence offences.

The 46-year-old fitness entrepreneur was arrested in Noosa on October 4th.

and charged with assault, occasionally bodily harm and strangulation in a domestic setting.

Police alleged Sam assaulted his wife, Snezana Wood, following an argument at a property in Noosa.

During an earlier bail hearing, prosecutors alleged Snezana had been unable to breathe during the incident and had feared for her life.

The court also heard allegations of a previous domestic violence incident in Victoria approximately three years ago, which Sam has denied.

He was refused bail on October 8th and remains in custody.

And now his legal team is seeking a Supreme Court review with the hearing not expected until November 4th.

He is due back in court before the Sunshine Coast Court on November 23rd.

The charges remain before the courts.

And it'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

As we know, Sam Wood has been moved to a facility in Brisbane.

We're also getting reports that he is being kept alone due to his high profile.

And I also spoke about this on the pod not that long ago that Snezana has been spotted out and about without her wedding ring, which is not a huge shock.

On October 8th, the magistrate was pretty clear about denying bail.

She raised concerns about the safety of the alleged victim and the willingness of interference, finding that Sam had failed to establish why he should be released.

She also called the prosecution's case relatively strong.

So it'll be interesting to see what happens when it goes to the Supreme Court.
