In this episode Moggzy and Lucy break down their full weekend at The Long Road Festival-from early-entry ticket scanner chaos and the great premium versus live-in camping debate to surviving sudden…
I think we're going to start the week with talking about our weekend at the Long Road Festival.
Yeah, your weekend started on Thursday.
It did, it did.
To be fair, Thursday was great.
It was dead easy to get in.
Other than when we first arrived, all the handheld scanners they had for the tickets weren't working.
So everyone was...
I was one of the first ones there.
I think the gate opened at two.
I was there for pretty much two.
Maybe ten past.
We were sitting in the cars in the field just waiting on a queue because...
They'd all just backed him.
So I think it took them like about 40 minutes to come to the cartels and go, yes, they're not working.
If it's like this for another half an hour, then we're going to start just doing physical chats.
And in the end, that's what they did because they just weren't playing game.
So anyone could get it because when they were looking for tickets.
Screenshot of tickets.
They weren't looking at what was on.
As long as you had...
the long road gate yeah it was fine i mean it was only for parking to be fair it wasn't for the the actual festival ticket but um but yeah once we parked up and all that it was pissing down but it wasn't as bad as it was later on in the weekend um and the queue at the gate for the actual entry was absolutely fine um and we were in for about three ish i think or
Was it a far walk from the car to the camp it?
It's about a five minute walk to the gate and then where we camped it was probably another ten minutes maybe not even that but we always have the same spot mainly because it's pretty close to the towards the shower so if you need a piss in the middle of that you can go.
But
yeah I know it was good.
