This week, we're unpacking the real impact of our summer drops and how pushing new products is helping us bounce back from recent cash flow struggles. We also dive deep into email deliverability…
Yeah, the summer's been interesting.
I feel like we talked about this last time a little bit, but cash flows have been really tough for both of us, I think.
I don't know.
We were talking about this a little bit before the pod, but I feel like things have, for my brand at least, have gotten a lot better over the last couple weeks.
I launched a summer collection, which is doing really well.
I had some products really become big winners from that.
And what's interesting is...
Well, what's still hard about that is I feel like the brand's
still in recovery mode.
I'm not making gazillions of dollars here and still feel like it's a struggle to pay bills and I'm overdue on some things like supplier invoices, which I hate doing.
But it does seem like maybe we're turning a corner.
People are buying more things.
I don't know if...
This summer drop that I did was a big unlock.
I was looking at some of the numbers recently.
The drop itself, I had...
Let's see... son hoodie, three running athletic shirts, which are fed to all these products are like some of the best I think I've done yet to shorts, a grid fleece, which I included in it technically dropped a couple weeks before it.
And then Oh yeah.
Sweatshirt and a t-shirt, which are just graphic graphic designs, which look really good.
But all that, all of that drop, like this was my first summer drop.
I'm trying to do a lot more of this drop schedule.
We've talked about this before.
It's there's so much operational lift that goes into like organizing everything and like setting up emails and all this stuff.
And I'm pretty much doing all this still myself organizing, like the product inventory, you know, like all this stuff, getting shipping lined up, all, all the things.
And yeah, It's working well, like the summer drop, I've seen a lot of success from a lot of lift in terms of numbers.
