Slip Under The Covers with us as we deep dive into the recent club changes of Wyndham Clark as he wins the BMW Championship at Bellerive in St Louis. Then we go Under Michael La Sasso's Covers as he…
Well, speaking of winners, I guess we should probably talk about Wyndham Reed.
He is your cheater, I mean, winner for the tournament.
Kind of going through some of his scores, so... a little bit familiar with the U S open.
He went 64, 64, 65, 70.
So I had a really hot start and kind of just survived essentially.
Um, if you remember, what is that month and a half ago? Um, I was talking about Aaron Rye.
He was the first person during the PGA championship to get better every round and win it and win a major championship.
Wyndham, uh, with the U S open and the BMW championship got worse every time and still one kind of just shows how good he does on those first couple of days.
Unreal putting.
I don't know if y'all have his strokes gained on putting from like data golf or whatever.
I'm curious to hear that, but he played ridiculous.
It's, it's, I don't know.
He, on Sunday, he started with a five-stroke lead and then made it very interesting.
He bogeyed while Rory birdied.
So then that immediately brought it closer.
And then he kind of had a bad Sunday.
Even though he won, he really didn't play super well.
Yeah.
I don't know if y'all
agree with that.
He was, like, three over at one point and, like, not playing.
Like, I was surprised when I, like, looked at the leaderboard and Rory and him were, like, tied coming down the stretch.
Yeah, his home stretch brought it back within.
