Because before I was Coach Jamie, I was a teenage girl who struggled with this exact thing.

When I was in middle school, I watched a movie about a girl who overexercised and starved herself just to get her body, quote unquote, perfect.

That movie was trying to warn me about the dangers of trying to gain the perfect body.

Every time I went anywhere, I was constantly comparing myself to every single girl there.
