Dominique PittsGuestBrentHostTonyHostHow have you been practicing this for yourself?
[chuckles]

... are a little too tenfold, uh, which I feel like makes it interesting to invite in a sacred partner.

But this is the thing: if you already honor yourself so fully, you're not looking outside of yourself for what you can already give yourself.

And some of those ways are-- And most people might immediately jump to, "Oh, I, I buy myself nice things," or, "I go and take a nice bath." I'm like, "No, no, no, it's so much more than that." How are we cultivating safety from within? How are we able to anchor in the remembrance of the love that's already prevalent within us, and able to nurture that? That, for me, looks like any moment that I catch myself feeling a little hurried energetically or a little uneasy or uncomfortable, I'll close my eyes-
Mm-hmm

... and I'll put my hand on my heart and one near my womb space or my stomach, and I'll breathe and I'll connect to myself and remind myself, like, "You are so safe here.

You're so grounded and protected and infinitely capable of anything you set your heart, mind, and soul to." That little moment that you can pull yourself back to is huge.

And then, sure, it's also setting yourself up for success in the physical, right? It's taking care of yourself, mind, body, spirit.

That is love in totality, right? From what we consume visually, auditorily, from a digestion standpoint, all of it should be from a place of love.
Mm-hmm

We deserve to eat art, right? Same thing of when I realize, "Oh, I'm feeling a little bit low energy.

Let me go get myself a two-hour massage, and then take the time to spend about three hours in nature, and then work out." Whatever I need to do to honor this vessel, honor this being.

If I find that my emotions are moving through and they're really heavy, I don't just suppress that and say- For another day.

I allow myself to feel all of it all at once with compassion, with grace, with remembrance that my emotions are welcome and have the full capability to be fully honored in every way.

And so I cry often too, and I allow those waterfalls of tears to move through, and sometimes it's joy, sometimes it's sadness.
